The First MUSTER Gameplay Trailer

Here is the first moving look at MUSTER—from the moment the excavation starts giving you clues to the moment a newly equipped warband takes its opening positions.

The first MUSTER gameplay trailer. This is the updated no-music cut.
Text description of the trailer

The trailer opens on a numbered excavation grid, follows clues to buried foes, loot, and a recruit, then shows the growing warband, equipment choices, hex-grid deployment, and an automatic battle.

What the trailer follows

It begins in the dirt. Revealed numbers count the foes and useful finds still hidden around them, but those two possibilities share the same clue. The board gives you enough information to reason with, then asks how much risk you are willing to take.

From there, the trailer follows discoveries into the warband screen. Buried diggers become recruits. Weapons and charms become a build. The group then moves to the hex-grid battlefield, where the final decision is how to deploy before combat plays out automatically.

A clearer cut

Update, August 27: we replaced the original upload with a refreshed web encode and a no-music cut. The game audio now has the space, and the trailer is the version we want people to meet first.

MUSTER is in development for Windows, macOS, and Linux. More detailed looks at the excavation and warband systems are on the way.
